Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Names President John Hernandez as New Executive Director

The Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce announced that President John Hernandez will assume a new role as Executive Director of the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce effective immediately. The Hispanic Chamber Board of Directors has chosen an experienced “battle tested” leader who has successfully guided the chamber through a difficult transition. The chamber has been without an Executive Director since March of 2006. President Hernandez had assumed the role until a new Executive Director was found.

Incoming President Eligio Nava had the following statement. “John has been a very effective leader for our chamber. He is going to be an excellent Executive Director for us.” He also outlined that with John as the Director they will avoid the traditional learning curve a new person will have to experience. “We are ready to go for 2007. That is the huge advantage that he provides for us.”

John Hernandez had the following statement. “It has been a pleasure to serve you as President of your chamber and I am looking forward to serving you in the new role of Executive Director. I chose to accept this position because I enjoy the time I invest in my community. I humbly accept this responsibility and thank the Board of Directors for their support.”

The Hispanic Chamber also announced the incoming officers for 2007. They take office on January 1, 2007.
