The Central California
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has signed a $25,000 agreement with
Telemundo 51 to promote the 2007 Cinco de Mayo Fest in Old Town
Clovis. This agreement will assure the success of the 2007 Cinco de
Mayo Fest. It gives the event a broad base to promote this event in
Spanish. There are additional provisions to this agreement that will
enhance participation in this event. The Chamber looks forward to
revealing those at a later date.
CCHCC Executive Director, John Hernandez had the following statement
about this new development. “Cinco de Mayo Fest is taking on a life
of its own. This pledge of support towards Cinco de Mayo sends a
strong signal to the entire valley. We want everyone to come out to
the wonderful setting of Old Town Clovis on May 5th. This added
marketing push will greatly contribute to the success of the event.
We greatly appreciate the partnership we have developed with
Telemundo 51.”
