What is Valley Adult Day Health Care Center?
Valley Adult Day Health Care Center is a
compassionate choice allowing seniors to remain at
home while benefiting everyone involved in the care
of a dependent senior.
A community-based program, Valley Adult Day Health
Care Center provided a warm and comfortable, yet
structured Monday through Friday program that
includes medical care as well as activities to
improve the quality of life and help delay the need
for early institutionalization of a loved one. In
addition to medical and physical therapies,
activities include light exercise, socialization,
games celebrations and observance of ethnic
traditions. We also provide free transportation,
breakfast and a tasty, nutritious hot lunch.
How do family caregivers and/or assisted living
facilities benefit?
By having an affordable alternative to expensive
in-home daytime care; this alternative includes
professional medical care, therapy, supervision and
much more. Plus, the warm and friendly atmosphere of
the center and the interaction with staff and other
seniors is a stimulating answer to the social
isolation and depression plaguing many seniors.
Caregivers get a much needed break which is vital
when caring for a dependent senior. Valley Adult Day
Health Care Center gives you a peace of mind that
your loved one is in good hands while you tend to
other needs and responsibilities. And rest assured
that all medical care is provided in conjunction
with one’s primary physician.
Who is eligible for Valley Adult Day Health Care
Center’s services?
Most adults with a medical condition that requires
treatment or rehabilitative services as prescribed
by a physician. Common conditions include high blood
pressure, diabetes, heart attack and stroke suffers
in need of recovery, social isolation and those who
have recently been hospitalized and are in need of
physical, occupational or speech therapy.
Who pays for Valley Adult Day Health Care
Center’s services?
Medi-Cal covers the entire cost for those who are
eligible. Some private insurance plans, HMO’s, and
participants may also pay for services on a sliding
scale basis which takes into account one’s income.
If you are a Veteran, Veterans Administration will
cover the entire cost. Valley Adult Day Health Care
Center is the only adult day health care center that
is contracted with the Veterans Administration to
provide this service to all of our Veterans.

Registered Nurse, LVN, social workers, Activities
