The Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
has signed a $25,000 agreement with Comcast to
promote the 19th Central California Business Expo &
Career Fair set for August 17, 2007 at the Radisson
Hotel in Fresno. This agreement will assure the
success of the 19th Central California Business Expo
& Career Fair. It gives the event a broad base to
promote this event in English. There are additional
provisions to this agreement that will enhance
participation in this event. Comcast will
participate in two workshops at the event and offer
chamber members discounted prices for their
products.
CCHCC Executive Director, John Hernandez had the
following statement about this new development. “The
19th Central California Business Expo & Career Fair
is taking on a life of its own. This pledge of
support towards this event sends a strong signal to
the entire valley. We want everyone to come out to
the wonderful setting of Downtown Fresno at the
Radisson Hotel on August 17th. This added marketing
push will greatly contribute to the success of the
event. We greatly appreciate the partnership we have
developed with Comcast.”
Anthony Morrison of Comcast gave the following
statement. “It is my pleasure to work with the staff
of the Central California Hispanic Chamber of
Commerce on this year’s business expo; and I hope
that it is a launching pad for all of their members
into what technology can bring to their businesses.”
Mr. Morrison elaborated on how the internet can help
your business. “Virtually every business has a use
or application for the internet. If you don’t know
how the internet can help your business, come on out
to the business expo, attend the workshop, enjoy the
luncheon; you’ll be “profitably surprised” how the
internet can help your business.”
The 19th Central California Business Expo & Career
Fair is a unique event that will feature free
learning workshops in English & Spanish, vendor
booths, job opportunities and much more. The
classes, career fair and expo are free and open to
the public. To register for one of the free
