I have been in the Catering/Restaurant Industry for over 25 yrs. I just move back to Fresno from Dallas, Texas a year ago. I was the Catering Director for a Chain of Restaurants in Dallas and was the owner/operator of International Catering Company- Dallas.
My Parents are Fernando and Mary Flores and are the owners of The Flores Banquets Corporation- International Catering Banquet and Conference Center. They have in the Catering Business for 31 years.

I was born in Caracas Venezuela. When I graduated from high-school, my parents sent me to Trinidad and Tobago to learn English. I lived in Trinidad and Tobago for about 3 years, and shortly after I returned to Caracas I started searching for universities in California. In 1986, I started my Bachelors degree at the California State University in Fresno. In 1990, I graduated from Fresno State with a Bachelors degree in Art. After I graduated from college, I took a year off and traveled around Europe. In 1992, I started my career in marketing and advertising. I joined the marketing and advertising department at “Telemundo” Channel 59. While working at channel 59 I accomplished many career goals. I was responsible for the local direct accounts, and also for some of the regional accounts. In 1995, I accepted a position as a marketing specialist at “Univision” while at channel 21; I exceeded my department’s goals by introducing new accounts to the station. After 2 years with “Univision” I got recruited by KMPH FOX 26. I found my job at FOX more challenging. Being in General Market was new to me, but being Hispanic and fluent in both languages Spanish and English, became a tremendous asset to my department. In the first two months of my employment at FOX 26, I became the marketing specialist of the month for two months in a row. I also worked at KSEE 24 for many years where I became the President’s club winner, an award given by the Granite Corporation to the best Marketing Specialists around the United States. Through out my marketing career, I have worked mainly in the Multicultural marketing arena. I have assisted a number of local and regional advertising agencies on how to reach the Hispanic market as well as facilitating creative ideas to the Hispanic market.
I am currently the Marketing Manager for Comcast Cable. I am a single mother of two daughters Gabriela 12, and Daniela 8.
